How to Install refit software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

refit software package provides graphical boot menu for ia32 and x64 EFI systems, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install refit

refit is installed in your system.

Make ensure the refit package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep refit *

You will get with refit package name, version, architecture and description in a table
